Episode 18: Prince Albert the Movie
Friday Oct 23, 2015
Friday Oct 23, 2015
The guys start out talking a little TV. They discuss the McGuyver reboot, the potential Lethal Weapon show, and the return of Ducktales.
They move onto movies that were based on video games. Toner leads off with his love of Max Payne. They also touch on Super Mario Brothers, Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, and Doom. They also talk about which games shouldn't be translated to film, like Uncharted, and what would make a good movie, like Halo.
Sticking with movies, the guys look at movies from childhood that need to be remade. Sound Guy Steve starts out with Flight of the Navigator; others mentioned were Monster Squad, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Labyrinth, Princess Bride, Big, and the Wizard among others.
They review Furious 7, American Sniper, the Fault in our Stars, and You're Next...while they look at SG Steve's Twitter feed and who he follows.
The guys then talk about pyramid sales scams, like weight loss products and make up, the weirdest thing witnessed in Vegas, and talk about Andy F's impending child.
This is all done while commenting on the Rams' game.
The unofficial beer sponsors are Dundee's Pilsner and Goose Island

Welcome back for the 16th time. The guys discuss a few interesting topics.
They start with movie news, touching on a Deadpool sequel, Dr. Strange, Star Wars: Rogue One, War of the Planet of the Apes, the future of James Bond, and various movie trailers.
Then it gets weird; they talk about some weird fetishes, a la furries, but crazier. Then they move onto weird or uncomfortable scenarios.
The conversation shifts to video game talk. They discuss their favorite games for each counsel and tell stories of what they've played.
Joe created a Hot or Not account and talks about it. He's a 6.7 out of 10, is creeping at a local college, and he's made a few connections.
The unofficial beer sponsor was Kirkwood Station's Pumpkin Ale.

They briefly touch on 9/11, and how it impacted Sound Guy Steve's choice of employment. The topic turns to the clock bomb kid in Texas. They round out the "serious" talk with a discussion around college, the cost, and the debt.
The round out the show talking about the fall TV schedule, looking at new and returning shows. There is a longer discussion on South Park, a local story along the lines of Caitlyn Jenner, and Joe Dust's brush with South Park celebrity on Twitter.

Episode 14: The Pakistani Drillpress
Sunday Sep 20, 2015
Sunday Sep 20, 2015
A couple days late, but not a few dollars short. Welcome back to Episode 12.
We start with reliving our best drinking stories, including the WWE, cleaning cars, the machine, air travel, and a man hunt.
We then move to director George Miller; we look at his resume and talk about the plans for Man of Steel 2. We shift to his failed Justice League Movie and why DC can integrate TV with Film.
On to Marvel, where we discuss the Blade Reboot and thoughts on the previous trilogy. We then move onto some characters that would fit with the Netflix "street level" heroes.
We then look at the cinematic work of Wes Craven, who recently passed away.
We look at a few recent movies we all watched: TMNT, RoboCop, Insurgent, and the Kingsmen.
We close out with the strangest things to happen to us, including one that happened on the way to recording, and an Urban Dictionary quiz that wasn't as funny as we'd thought it would be. And Toner struggles to finish, like normal.
Unofficial Beer Sponsor is Urban Chestnut Snickelfritz.
The music is brought to you by the 12 to 6 Movement; the track Can't Be Done is the opening and the full track at the end of the episode. You can find them on...

Episode 12: Mr. Roboto
Thursday Sep 03, 2015
Thursday Sep 03, 2015
Welcome to another episode, this time with some recording issues; please forgive the robotic voices at times.
Toner give the explanation of what happened to Cripple Jay. We also give a correct to Episode 10 from one of our listeners. Joe gives some random Cardinal notes from a recent game.
The talk turns to music. Most of the crew recently watched the Nirvana documentary Montage of Heck and talk about Kurt Cobain. The conversation then moves to whether bands of the '90s will continue to maintain success and why that music is better than stuff that comes out today. The discussion ends with Joe breaking down the Deftones/Incubus concert he recent watched.
The topic jumps to the Bridgeton Landfill (aerial photo: https://en.wikipedia.org/west\_lake\_landfill#/media/File:west\_lake\_landfill\_aerial\_view.png) and the potential issues it poses.
Keeping the conversation loose on serious topics, the gang moves to Jared Fogle, the creepiness of tinted glasses, and the Anonymous/Ashley Madison hacks.
This week’s Joe Rants include semi-colon tattoos, drunk Snapchats, and Apple Watches.
We finish up talking about the first time seeing something that makes you sweat (aka boobs) movie reviews (The House I Live In, American Sniper, All This Mayhem, and the preview of Tiptoes), and talk on different sports commentators
The unofficial beer sponsor is Schlafly; we drank their Kolsch.
The music is provided by the Chris Stewart Band; the track is titled "Blue Soul and Rock and Roll," which has a clip in the opening and the full track at the end of the episode. You can find them on...
