Big announcement this week, as the podcast was named the Best Movie and Comic Podcast of 2023 by New World Report; while it's just a ploy to get money out of websites and podcast, we'll ride it as far as we can go with it. We talk about Jay's trip to see Tech N9ne, Hollywood Undead, and King ISO, Daredevil: Born Again news, Invincible news, Star Wars rumors, and the announcement that Sting is retiring from wrestling. We then hit on the news items from NYCC, including new Ultimate Comics from Marvel, the return of Elseworld books from DC, and poop on the floor. We finish with homework, including the Last Starfighter, Mission Impossible, Kung Pow, Spectre, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Meg 1 and 2, The Woods, The Magic Order, X-Men, Justice Society of America, and a final talk about All Of The Marvels.

They break down Thrawn's appearances and look at him as the big bad of the Star Wars universe for now. They also look at where Star Wars goes after this period. We touch on the celebrities at local high school sports, the new Blink-182 video, and Keanu Reeves before hitting the real topics. We break down the resolution to screenwriters strike (hat tip Marc Bernardin) and the new video game strike by SAG. We move to DC comics, talking about Jim Lee, more on the Superpowered: The DC Story documentary, the newly announced prequel to Kingdom Come, and delays on the Gunn-verse. Matt and Jay catch up, then hop into Scott Snyder's Batman run, looking at it as a whole and in smaller pieces to determine if this is one of the best Batman runs we've seen and one of the best runs in comics overall. They touch on Superpowered: The DC Story on Max, DC TV shows, and the Punisher. They then go to a galaxy far, far away to discuss the first 5 episodes of Ahsoka, the possibilities of retconning the sequel trilogy, and the Bad Batch.
