They get into their main topics: the Academy Awards and DC Movie Rumors (casting, Snyderverse). We touch on school shootings and Missouri cutting funds to libraries. We finish with some homework we've completed.

This week the guys go into a little bit about their respective jobs, getting hired, during Covid, and some horror stories about remote working. They throw a little love to their local comic shops: Bug's Comics, Endless Comics, Just Heroes, and New Castle Comics. They discuss Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and how it fits in compared to other movies and for Phase 5. They discuss a list of worst and best Third Movies of a franchise. They end with some homework.

Matt and Jay return with a lot of comics, specifically from DC. They recap their thoughts on the last big relaunch of DC: Rebirth. They then look at the Dawn of DC and the scheduled books coming out. Jay runs through the 2 books that have been released: Action Comics 1051 and Superman 1. The DC talk then shifts to James Gunn's plan for the movies; they run though the announcements, then 2 tweets from Gunn with other characters he could be using. They rap up with some Marvel news and homework.

They start with a quick talk on the St. Louis Blues, security systems, bad trivia night questions, and the Most Universally Like People Bracket before hitting their main topics. They talk a while about the Dawn of DC event that's starting up out of Dark Crisis and the future of DC comics. They then preview the movies coming out in 2023. They end with a little homework.

After catching up on Thanksgiving, Matt and Jay talk a little beer, specifically how good Narrow Gauge is. They shift to the 3 new trailers released: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. They also talk some MCU rumors for Deadpool 3 and Avengers: Secret Wars. They then get into a large Batman discussion: the best Batman stories of any medium; there is talk of the Animated Series, Batman '66, Batman Beyond, and the comic books. They end with a little bit of homework talk.
